Dark Chocolate Fondue

Ingredients:




· 1 ¼ cup of spring water


· 1 cup premium cocoa powder (Berger) sifted


· 1 ½ cups of granule sugar


· ½ cup and also 5 tablespoons of  heavy cream


· 1 Pound cake and also fruits  (like fresh strawberries, plums, apples, bananas and grapes) should be cut into small pieces


· ¼ cup syrup of fresh corn


· 62% or 5 ounces of Schaeffer Berger (should be semi sweetened chocolate) chopped

  Instructions
 

 




· To begin with first sift the cocoa powder in a bowl and keep aside.  A special mixing bowl could be used.


· Place the granule sugar, ¼ cup fresh corn syrup and water in a pot stir till the mixture comes to boiling temperature.


· After the mixture has boiled, allow it to simmer for 8 – 12 minutes, till the sugar syrup solution has decreased to about 30%.


· Slowly add the cocoa powder into the mixture and blend well using a whisk.  Keep blending the mixture till it is nice and smooth.    


· After the mixture is completely smooth, pour the chocolate mixture into a cooking pot onto the stove and cook on medium flame.


· While cooking the chocolate mixture fold into it heavy and fresh cream.  Bring this mixture to boil and allow it to simmer for at least 5 to 7 minutes.


· Remove the pot from the stove and stir into it chopped pieces of delicious chocolate. 


· Later pour the chocolate mixture into a fondue pot and allow it to remain warm.
