Date-Nut Chocolate Bread

2 cups fine flour


1/2 cup dates (chopped)


1 cup sugar


1/4 cup walnuts (chopped)


2 tablespoons butter


1/2 tea spoon baking soda


1/4 teaspoon salt


1 cup warm water


1 cup cocoa powder

  Instructions
 

-Put flour, dates, sugar, nuts, butter, soda, salt and cocoa powder in a bowl and mix all the ingredients well until the dates are well coated and mixture is well blended.


- Add warm water and keep stirring till it is soft.


- Grease the loaf pan and dust it with flour. Line it with butter paper.


- Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf tin and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degree F for about 55-60 minutes.


- Take out and check by inserting a tooth pick.


- Let it cool
