Chocolate Cake Brownie

These scrumptious chocolate brownies become more delicious when topped with chocolate frosting.


Ingredients: 


Brownie Batter:


4 eggs


6 tablespoons unsweetened Coco powder


1 cup sugar


1 cup butter


1 cup maida (flour)


2 teaspoon vanilla extract


1 teaspoon baking powder


1/4 teaspoon salt


½ cup pecans or walnuts 


Frosting:


3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder


4 ounces butter


3 1/2 cup icing sugar


1/2 teaspoon vanilla


5-6 tablespoons milk 

  Instructions
 

 




· In a bowl add butter and sugar and beat it till it’s light and fluffy.


· Gradually add eggs and vanilla. You can beat the mixture by hand or use an electric beater.


· In another bowl add maida, baking powder, salt and cocoa.


· Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture. Keep stirring until blended.


· Fold in the nuts.


· Take a 9x13x2 inch baking pan and grease it with butter and flour. Pour the mixture in the pan.


· Bake the brownie in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.


· To check if the cake is done, insert a wooden pick or a cake tester in the center and if it comes out clean, the brownie is ready.


· Let the brownie cool. Till then you can prepare the frosting.


· On low heat, melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in cocoa till you get a smooth consistency.


· Add icing sugar and vanilla with milk to make the mixture soft.


· Spread the mixture over the brownie
